Behavioral Health Design Commission Awarded to Prominent Healthcare Architect

 

Bernstein & Associates, Architects is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the commission to provide behavioral health design services, as well as behavioral health planning services, for a large, free-standing behavioral health center in New York.

 

Behavioral health is an important part of the continuum of health care services in our society, and Bernstein & Associates, Architects is pleased to be chosen the designer of this behavioral health facility.

 

The services provided include behavioral health master plan, design of comprehensive psychiatric emergency program (CPEP) services, inpatient behavioral health facilities, and outpatient behavioral health facilities. The focus of the design effort is to create a state-of-the-art behavioral health facility, focused on behavioral health patient safety, patient comfort, and best practices in behavioral health design. The focus on patient safety included a comprehensive effort to create a suicide resistant design, with a particular focus on areas that are reachable by the patient particularly in private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms.

 

This state-of-the-art behavioral health facility promises to be a leading example of behavioral health planning and behavioral health design when complete.
