"An elite panel of scientists urged the federal government yesterday to take a deeper look at the safety of a controversial research laboratory being built by Boston University.  The recommendation comes from the National Research Council, an independent advisory board, which sharply criticized the federal government in November for previous safety reviews of the BU project, branding them 'not sound and credible.'..."

Within the past eighteen years, *Bernstein & Assoc., Architects, PLLC*  has completed numerous : pharmaceutical laboratories; biochemistry and biotechnology laboratories; clean rooms; pilot plants; blood processing laboratories; medical device manufacturing facilities; a neurobiology research facility; Biosafety Level-3 laboratories;  molecular immunology laboratories; and a plant biology laboratory.

Lab Publications and Awards :

Our laboratory projects have won design awards from Progressive Architecture, and Architectural Record, and have been published in Advance, Bio/Technology, Progressive Architecture, Architectural Record, and Design Solutions.
